At the 13th Beijing Auto Show, Land Rover released the hybrid version of Range Rover and the hybrid version of Range Rover Sport. The new car is equipped with a 3.0-liter SDV6 diesel engine and an electric motor with a power of 35kW and a maximum torque of 170Nm.

In terms of appearance, there is not much difference between the new car and the current model in appearance, but the nameplate of HYBRID is added at the tail. Both models adopt Land Rover’s lightweight all-aluminum body structure.

In terms of interior, Range Rover is equipped with brand-new front seats, and the entertainment information display screen in the back row has also increased to 10.2 inches. The Range Rover hybrid vehicle has 5-seat cockpit space and storage space, while the interior design of the Range Rover Sport hybrid vehicle is the same as that of the standard vehicle, and the "5+2" optional seat configuration is also adopted.

In terms of configuration, the Range Rover Hybrid Edition and the Range Rover Sport Hybrid Edition have added a series of safety configurations, including road traffic sign recognition, lane departure alarm, upgraded automatic parking function, etc. Consumers can also choose to install InControl systems, including 3G WiFi hotspots, stolen vehicle tracking, and remote control lights for iOS/Android phones.

In terms of power, both the Range Rover Hybrid and the Range Rover Sport Hybrid are equipped with a 3.0-liter SDV6 diesel engine and a motor with a power of 35kW and a maximum torque of 170Nm, which is matched with the ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, but the total weight is only less than 120kg. The 3.0-liter SDV6 diesel engine has a maximum power of 340Ps and a maximum torque of 700Nm.
