In the national practice of improving teachers’ information literacy, Changsha, a teacher, showed and exchanged ideas.

On December 18-20, 2023, the 27th National Teacher Information Literacy Promotion Practice of Education Technology and Resources Development Center (Central Audio-visual Education Center) of the Ministry of Education was held in the International Exchange Center of FLTRP. In this activity, Mr. Xu Rui from Xingsha Experimental School, the middle school affiliated to Hunan Normal University, as the only representative of Hunan Province, gave a micro-lesson exhibition and exchange.

In the teacher activity exhibition, Mr. Xu Rui showed his micro-lesson "Python Decision Tree: Exploring the Magic of Branch Structure". The lesson follows the problem-oriented teaching mode, guides students to think actively and explore independently, and stimulates students’ interest and motivation in learning. He introduced how to use weather decision tree information technology to guide students to master Python branch structure to solve problems. Through concrete and vivid cases and practical operations, Mr. Xu Rui showed the application and effect of information technology in classroom teaching. The application of this technology not only helps to improve students’ information literacy, but also cultivates students’ logical thinking and problem-solving ability.
