Heroes go home!

With the gradual improvement of the epidemic prevention and control situation, 42,322 medical staff from all over the country who have completed the medical assistance task will leave Wuhan in batches. On March 17th, 3675 people from 41 national medical teams set foot on the return journey.

The epidemic situation continued to improve, and the hero returned home triumphantly.

Among them, including the "white guards" from central enterprises.

Hospitals affiliated to 13 central enterprises, such as General Technology Group, China Resources Group and Sinopharm Group, actively responded to the call and successively dispatched more than 500 medical staff from all over the country to help Hubei. Tens of thousands of medical staff in hospitals affiliated to 17 central enterprises joined the battle on the spot, and started a blocking war for epidemic prevention and control.

Recently, some of them have finished fighting, evacuated in an orderly way and set foot on their way home.

They turned and left, leaving a touching battle story.

On March 10th, Wuchang Fangcang Hospital officially closed its cabin. Seven "Mobile Hospital" equipment support team members from Suzhou Jiangnan Company, a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Technology, who went to Wuhan with the National Emergency Medical Rescue Team a month ago, are ready to close the cabin and go home!

The equipment support team of "Mobile Hospital" from China Aerospace Science and Technology Industry and the medical staff of Huashan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University took a group photo in front of Wuchang Fangcang Hospital.

Over the years, "Mobile Hospital" has successively participated in the anti-SARS action in 2003, the annual epidemic prevention, disinfection, flood control and waterlogging prevention tasks of disease control and other systems, and ensured the rescue tasks of major natural disasters such as Wenchuan earthquake, Yushu earthquake, Zhouqu mudslide and Guizhou landslide.

In this fight against the epidemic, the "mobile hospital", as the core equipment of the local cabin hospital, has effectively guaranteed Huashan Hospital to take nearly 450 patients with DR (mobile radiography machine) and 438 blood samples. "P2+" mobile biological laboratory, negative pressure surgical emergency shelter and other equipment have also played a great role in the continuous fight against the epidemic.

The national emergency medical rescue teams of 20 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in Wuhan are all equipped with "mobile hospital" equipment developed and produced by Suzhou Jiangnan Company, so the work of ensuring team members must be on standby 24 hours a day, and the internal shift system is implemented to ensure all-weather support. Because there is also a high risk of virus infection when the equipment is overhauled and debugged in the front line of epidemic prevention and control, the security team members must also wear protective clothing to work. They are worried about the shortage of materials, so every time they go in, they are guaranteed to finish the work as much as possible.

On February 14, heavy snow fell suddenly in Wuhan, ensuring that the team members urgently carried out snow removal for the tent.

Support team member Bian Hengzhi is checking the equipment.

On March 17th, 20 medical staff from the General Medical Aid Hubei Medical Team under the Aviation Industry and General Technology Group set off from Wuhan for their return trip.

The 20 medical staff evacuated this time came from Chengfei Hospital and 363 Hospital of Aviation Industry General Medical respectively, and all of them arrived safely in Meishan, Sichuan Province, and joined with 11 members of the medical team of Aviation Industry Tibet Aid Area for centralized isolation. According to the plan, 14 medical staff will be evacuated and returned in batches in the near future, and the remaining 50 will continue to support the war epidemic in Hubei as required.

General Medical Chengfei Hospital supports the medical staff of Wuhan Hanyang Shelter Hospital.

General Medical Chengdu 363 Hospital supports Wuhan Hanyang Shelter Hospital medical staff to take a group photo.

The 20 medical staff who left Han earlier rushed to Hubei with the medical team of Sichuan Province to support Wuhan Hanyang Shelter Hospital, and worked with more than 800 medical team members from Sichuan, Fujian, Shandong, Hebei and other places to carry out medical treatment. A total of 1028 patients were treated. After Wuhan Hanyang Shelter Hospital closed its cabin, after a short break, they went to hospitals in COVID-19 to start new battles until they were evacuated.

On March 13th, 25 medical staff from the Second Hospital of WISCO, a subsidiary of China Resources Medical, supported the Fangcang Hospital of the Party School of the Provincial Party Committee. After completing the treatment of COVID-19 patients, they ended the isolation period and returned to the Second Hospital of WISCO smoothly.

On February 11th, 25 medical staff rushed to Fangcang Hospital and actively participated in the first-line treatment of patients in the fight against the epidemic. After more than 20 days of persistence, they finally got the exciting moment of "taking a break"! Brave soldiers in white took off their protective clothing and laughed like children.

Director Zhang Yi, the team leader, said that despite the hard work, everyone’s fighting spirit was high, and their sense of mission in their hearts enabled them to overcome many difficulties until they came back victorious. Everyone is ready to throw themselves into a new battlefield at any time.

They bid farewell to their comrades-in-arms and gained precious brotherhood.

On the day of parting, it is happiness, sadness, gratitude and deep friendship.

Hu Yucheng and Ye Tao of the medical team service guarantee class of China Resources Medical Group wrote such a letter:

Looking at the photos you sent back from the ward, thick protective clothing, soaked clothes, foggy goggles and cracked hands, I was very moved, and at the same time, I was more distressed and admired for you. Whenever you are asked what lovely people want to eat and what they need, they always get the same answer: "The food is very good, there is no need, you have taken good care of it, you have taken the trouble, thank you." I was both happy and sad when I suddenly received the news that you were leaving. Happily, you brave people won this tough battle, and finally you can go home and reunite with your family. But so many days together, your silent efforts and your careful care not only warmed me, but also the Qingshan Mountain in Wuhan. In the spring of Wuhan in 2020, the most beautiful thing is not cherry blossoms, but you, you from Beijing and Xuzhou. Before you leave, I want to write with the child’s pen: Have a safe trip, I will wait for you in Qingshan!

Their agreement to escort the hero to the spring

"Heroes who are heading against the wind, when you return safely, we will take you home!"

For civil aviation central enterprises, this is the day when they fulfill the agreement.

On March 17th, Air China sent two chartered planes to Wuhan to escort angels in white home. Flight CA044 and flight CA042 arrived in Chengdu at 17: 10 and 17: 49 Beijing time respectively.

At Wuhan Tianhe Airport, medical teams from all over the country arrived one after another. In order to express Hubei people’s gratitude to the soldiers in white, Air China guaranteed flights according to VVIP level.

At an altitude of 10,000 meters, the captain of flight CA044 expressed the respect of Air China people for the soldiers in white:

Finally, it’s time to take you home! Great respect, no honor! I remember that on New Year’s Day, the day of family reunion, you became the first group of brave retrograde people. When we said goodbye to the cabin, we agreed together: Come on in Wuhan and come back safely! The mask covers your face, but it can’t cover your firm eyes. I don’t know your name, but I know you are angels in white. In that battlefield without smoke, you hold up the weight of life with love and responsibility. Your brave March has inspired us to make every ‘ Flights to spring ’ Take off and land safely. Rescuing charter flights again and again is the continuation of hope, and flying safely again and again is the beginning of victory. On the days and nights of temporary separation, Air China has been caring about you and looking forward to your return. Today we finally wait for you to come home safely. Ten thousand meters high, spring flowers are in full bloom. At today’s unforgettable moment, let’s shout together: Come on, China!

When the captain broadcast in Sichuan dialect at the end, the whole cabin was warmly applauded, which was not only for the patients who were not afraid of the disease, but also for the country they loved, as well as for themselves and their companions who had worked hard for Wuhan.

Sent flowers and respects to every victorious angels in white.

On March 17th, China Eastern Airlines carried out the first batch of six return charter flights, and took back 681 medical aid workers from Jiangsu, Gansu and Qinghai.

All the crew members of China Eastern Airlines greeted the heroes boarding the plane with excitement. Every bow, every mask with a smiling face, every love with both hands and every concerned eye contact are full of excitement and peace of mind, representing deep emotion, gratitude and tribute.

Weibo, the official of China Eastern Airlines, specially issued a special "commemorative boarding pass" to welcome the anti-epidemic heroes to go home. He took off from the hero’s city, rewarded them with "kindness and kindness" and returned home with the good wishes of "I only hope that the years will be safe and enjoy a good time together". This is the most sincere thanks and the highest tribute to angels in white who fought against the epidemic and protected the mountains and rivers.

In the on-board broadcast, the captain said:

Over the past month or so, Chinese has walked out of the dark moment of the epidemic with the efficiency and speed that attracted worldwide attention, and ushered in a bright and vibrant spring. I can fulfill the agreement and pick you up when Xinglin is warm in spring. Please allow us, on behalf of all the staff of China Eastern Airlines, to sincerely thank you! Thanks to you, the mountains and rivers are safe! Pay tribute to every anti-epidemic hero who guards his life

According to the plan, on March 18th, China Eastern Airlines will return to Xi ‘an and Hefei respectively with the third batch of medical teams from Shaanxi Province, 170 medical teams from traditional Chinese medicine and 137 medical teams from the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University.

At 16:49 on March 17th, flight CZ5242 of China Southern Airlines took off from Wuhan to Urumqi with 176 medical team members from Xinjiang who rushed to Hubei. This is the first chartered flight of China Southern Airlines to transport the medical team from Hubei Province.

The 176 medical staff from Xinjiang who rushed to Hubei on this flight came from the second batch of medical teams from Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and the first batch of medical teams from Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. They are also called "the farthest medical team in China". During the rush to help Hubei, they focused on the treatment of patients in Wuhan Dongxihu Fangcang Hospital.

China Southern Airlines set up a "special check-in counter for medical aid team members in Hubei" at the check-in site to ensure the safety and order of medical staff leaving Hong Kong. "Thank you for everything you have done for Wuhan! Thanks a lot! Today we are very happy to send you home! " At the boarding gate, the staff of China Southern Airlines also sent small gifts and sincere words to the medical team members, paying tribute to the Xinjiang medical staff who rushed to Hubei.

On the tarmac, the staff of China Southern Airlines pulled up the tribute banner.

China Aviation Oil Wuhan Aviation Gas Station is ready to go all out to ensure the safe fuel supply of 16 medical charter flights. After refueling, the plane refueling crew stood at attention and watched the medical staff boarding the plane on the covered bridge, filled with unspeakable gratitude for the "epidemic" in the past 50 days.

China TravelSky Hubei Kaiya conducted a comprehensive test on the network, departure hardware and security inspection system in advance, and set up a test flight to cooperate with Wuhan Tianhe Airport to conduct a full-process test on the return of medical staff. From 17th, the medical personnel assisting Hubei will be evacuated in batches, and Hubei Kaiya will continue to carry out first-line operation and maintenance at Wuhan Tianhe Airport to ensure the smooth return of angels in white.

Thank you for fighting for your compatriots. Pay tribute to the hero and have a safe journey.

Huaiyuan’s "Green Change" and "Alkaline Capital" Rebirth —— Investigation on the Ecological Development of Tongbai in Henan Province

Xinhua News Agency, Zhengzhou, April 17th Title: Huaiyuan "Green Change" and "Alkaline Capital" Rebirth —— Investigation on the Ecological Development of Tongbai in Henan Province

Xinhua News Agency reporter Li Peng

The Huaihe River originates from Tongbai Mountain in Tongbai County, Henan Province, and runs for thousands of miles. Moreover, a large trona mine which is rare in the world is buried underground at its source.

Behind the two business cards "Huaiyuan" and "Alkali Capital" is the fierce conflict between ecological protection and economic development. In recent years, under the guidance of the concept of ecological civilization, Tongbai county has driven Huaiyuan’s "green change" with the "green change" of industry, agriculture and culture, and explored a new way of coordinated development of economy and environmental protection.

Industrial "green change" drives the rebirth of "alkali capital"

To "turn green" in Huaiyuan, we must first "turn green" in industry. In the 1970s, geological experts discovered the first trona deposit in China in Tongbai County, which changed the development track of Huaiyuan. Subsequently, Tongbai County established the status of "China Natural Alkali Capital" with the resource advantage of "the world’s four largest natural alkali mines, with Tongbai taking the second place".

"Alkali is the basic raw material of modern chemical industry, and the discovery of trona is of great significance to China’s chemical industry." Ma Qianli, who followed his father’s footsteps into the chemical industry, is now the deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Henan Zhongyuan Chemical Co., Ltd., the largest natural alkali producer in China.

"Natural alkali has an advantage over chemical alkali production in cost." Ma Qianli said that it plays an important role in maintaining the competitiveness of a country’s chemical industry in the world.

In the new century, the aura of "China Natural Alkali Capital" has become the shackles of local development because of environmental pollution. "Green transformation" has become the only choice. After more than ten years of green technology research, "China Natural Alkali Capital" has been reborn.

Nowadays, in the chemical industry cluster area of Tongbai County, where there are many new factories, around the main business of sodium nitrate chemical industry, the industry has been rearranged, and the quality has been upgraded to the downstream, and "four eco-economic circular chains" have been gathered to solve the "old problem" of pollution.

Li Wu, secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Chemical Industry Cluster in Tongbai County, said that through the "four chains", the waste residue in the production of natural soda ash has formed a building materials industrial chain, the waste gas has formed a baking soda industrial chain, and the waste liquid has formed an industrial mixed alkali industrial chain. Even the waste water has been recycled and leached, and all the "four wastes" have been eaten dry and squeezed out.

Not long ago, the world’s largest single 400,000-ton baking soda production project was officially put into production here, and "China Natural Alkali Capital" was transformed into the world’s largest baking soda production base with a production capacity of over 1.2 million tons.

Agricultural "Green Change" Blows the Horn of General Attack on Poverty Alleviation

Poverty is another big threat to the ecological protection of Huaiyuan. For a long time, the indiscriminate mining and logging caused by poverty has always threatened the achievements of ecological protection of Tongbai. The "green change" of agriculture has become a top priority.

Shitouzhuang, Yuegou Village and Chestnut Garden in Chengwan Town are all in a ravine, which is a well-known tea-making village. In the 1950s and 1960s, the tea garden area in the three villages was as high as 40,000 mu at most.

At that time, Zheng Baomian’s father was the director of a tea factory in the village. However, with the masses going out in succession, tea gardens are becoming increasingly barren.

In 2013, Tongbai County established tea as a county-wide characteristic poverty alleviation industry, which made Zheng Baomian’s tea-growing and tea-making technology come into play. "When the tea cooperative was established in 2011, the tea garden did not have access or electricity, and one person insisted on it with a hoe." Zheng Baomian said that by 2016, the scale of tea gardens will continue to expand, the barren hills will be greener, and the annual output value of cooperatives will reach more than 5 million yuan.

Agricultural "green change" is full of vitality. Many able people see the hope of returning home to start a business. Han Tingwang, general manager of Danfeng Tea Development Co., Ltd., returned to his hometown in 2013 to set up a tea factory to drive farmers to grow tea. In 2018, the company covered three kinds of tea products: red, black and green, with an annual output value of more than 60 million yuan and a cumulative export of more than 300 tons of tea.

Mo Zhonghou, secretary of Tongbai County Party Committee, said that at present, Tongbai County has identified four characteristic poverty alleviation industries, namely "tea, shrimp, wormwood and fungus", among which "crayfish farming" alone has helped 2,705 poor households embark on the road of getting rid of poverty and becoming rich.

Cultural "green change" leads the new wind in Huaiyuan

The "green change" of workers and peasants has also driven "green culture" to become a new wind in Huaiyuan. In the northwest corner of Tongbai County, in September 2018, a Huaidu Park covering an area of nearly 500 mu crossed the Huaihe River and merged with the Linhuai Park on the other side, becoming the first choice for county residents to take a leisurely walk.

Three years ago, there were more than 100 villagers here, and domestic sewage became the burden of crossing the Huaihe River. In 2015, Tongbai County raised tens of millions of yuan to demolish villages and rebuild Huaidu Park. Lu Chenghao, secretary of the Party Committee of Chengguan Town, said: "Tens of millions of yuan have solved the problem of domestic sewage, and the government has shown its determination and courage to protect the environment."

Driven by the government, the volunteer team for protecting Huaiyuan is also growing. Pan Zhonghua, a teacher of Tongbai County No.3 High School who volunteered to protect Huaiyuan, initiated the establishment of the Environmental Volunteers Association in 2009. In more than 10 years, Pan Zhonghua’s volunteer team has grown to more than 200 people, and the ecology of Huaiyuan has also undergone new changes. "The river has been renovated, the forest coverage rate has been greatly improved, and wild ducks in the river can be seen everywhere."

According to statistics, under the guidance of the "green change" of culture, in recent years, Tongbai County has rejected more than 60 highly polluting projects, built 16 national and provincial ecological towns and 208 provincial and municipal ecological villages, and the forest coverage rate of the county has reached 51.7%.

CCPC Dafeng District ended, Hongqi H5 won the championship trophy in this category

International Online News: On September 24th, Kunlun Lubricant Cup ? 2017 China Production Car Performance Competition (CCPC) ended successfully in Dafeng District, Yancheng, Jiangsu. In this campaign, Hongqi H5 was in a hot state. In the competition of the medium-sized sports car group, it defeated Audi A4L and Cadillac ATS-L, won four individual championships in one fell swoop, and won the trophy of the comprehensive champion of this category at Yancheng Dafeng Station. To be able to stand out in the field known as "Asia’s first car testing ground", Hongqi H5 has fully verified its excellent performance and solid quality through real results.

Winning the long-distance energy-saving championship again, the energy-saving advantages of Hongqi H5 continue to emerge

Fuel economy is one of the focuses that consumers pay attention to when buying a car. Because of this, the long-distance energy-saving test race is the most eye-catching and popular event in the CCPC races. Compared with the extreme devil track in Karamay, the high-speed loop of Dafeng Station is closer to the working conditions of consumers’ daily high-speed driving.

As one of the best high-speed ring roads in China, Yancheng Test Ground can fully test the high-speed endurance and comprehensive performance of vehicles. With advanced powertrain and international-level vehicle tuning, as well as lean design in lightweight and aerodynamics, Hongqi H5 won the championship for the second time after winning the championship at Karamay Station with a result of 6.4L in 100 kilometers, and the result is far better than that of Audi A4L and Cadillac ATS-L in the same group.

There is no end to stillness, Hongqi H5 creates the highest "stillness" realm

Quietness is one of the key factors in determining the comfort of a vehicle, but this parameter cannot be directly obtained from the configuration table. Therefore, the noise test to measure quietness has also become a key project for the teams to compete for the championship. In this project, Hongqi H5 won two individual championships with excellent results of 44.7 decibels in the car (the highest grade air conditioner) at idle speed and 50.9 decibels in the car at 50km/h constant speed, demonstrating the profound skills of Chinese brands in creating the ultimate quiet space.

The FAW self-developed engine on the Hongqi H5 is designed with thin-walled cylinder block and maintenance-free silent chain timing system. It strives for excellence in process and minimizes the noise generated by the engine. Noise control during idling is also much higher than other models of the same class. At the same time, the application of international leading manufacturing technology makes the Hongqi H5 30% better than ordinary vehicles in terms of body-in-white sealing. With the three-way sealing design of the door and the optimization of sound-absorbing materials for the whole vehicle, the sound insulation performance of the Hongqi H5 body and the wind noise performance of the vehicle during driving have reached the international leading level, becoming the big winner of the noise test project of this event.

Extreme road conditions show strength, Hongqi H5 safety braking project wins the championship bravely

In order to test the braking performance of the vehicles, the Dafeng Station competition also highly simulated the wet and slippery road conditions on rainy days, and upgraded the original emergency braking project to the wet road braking project. After increasing the difficulty of the project, many participating vehicles failed to return. The Hongqi H5 showed excellent braking safety and came first with an excellent result of 24 meters.

From a glimpse, the advantages of the Hongqi H5 in terms of safety seem to be in the same vein as the Hongqi H7, which is known as "China’s security", and it is beginning to show its family characteristics.

"Yancheng Dafeng Station has always been a big test ground for the comprehensive performance of vehicles. The impressive record of winning four individual championships at Dafeng Station fully verifies the excellent product performance and solid quality of Hongqi H5. I believe that after the final battle of Yakeshi, Hongqi H5 can bring us more surprises," said the driver of FAW Hongqi Team after the race.

And the surprise from Hongqi has actually swept the entire automotive industry with thunderous momentum as early as three days ago. At the Phoenix Media Center in Beijing, New Hongqi, New Dream, New H7 made its debut. Xu Liuping, the new head of FAW who has just arrived for 49 days, has outlined a grand blueprint for the development of Hongqi. The horn of dreams has already sounded, and I believe that the explosive Hongqi H5 will play more passionate speed music.

The first round of awards ceremony for Tencent’s "Carbon Hunting Project" was held in Shenzhen to help cutting-edge low-carbon technologies cross the "Valley of Death"

In mid-September, the first round of awards ceremony for Tencent’s "Carbon Search Project" was held in Shenzhen, Guangdong. This is the first billion-level funding plan initiated by technology companies in the field of CCUS (carbon capture, utilization and storage) in China. A total of 30 winning projects were awarded, and each project team received a bonus of 500,000 yuan. The organizing committee of Tencent’s "Carbon Search Project" will select the best from these 30 projects and continue to invest tens of millions of projects in funding.

It is understood that since the launch of the "Carbon Search Project" in March this year, it has received extensive attention and positive response from the society. These 30 teams have stood out from more than 300 applications and represent the most cutting-edge and innovative technologies in the field of CCUS nationwide and even globally, including the relatively blank DAC field in China (directly capturing carbon dioxide from the air), the world’s leading microbial gene editing technology to absorb and utilize carbon dioxide in industrial exhaust, the use of construction waste to absorb carbon dioxide to reproduce building materials, and the capture of carbon dioxide through shellfish farming.

At a time when the global climate continues to warm, CCUS is considered an essential underpinning technology for achieving carbon neutrality, but due to the cutting-edge technology and high risk, this field lacks sufficient funding and resource support. Tencent’s "Carbon Search Plan" is to fill this gap, encourage more technical teams to join, and provide support from more institutions, and ultimately help CCUS technology cross the "death valley" and achieve innovation acceleration.

The 30 teams selected this time include young teams led by the post-90s generation, as well as senior teams who have studied in this field for more than 20 years. They include China’s top universities and research institutions, including Tsinghua University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Zhejiang University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, etc. There are also many "national team" players, including high-quality projects from the Ministry of Natural Resources, China Geological Survey, Huairou Laboratory and other units. As the experts of the jury said: "Since the release of the’Carbon Finding Project ‘, the social influence has been tremendous. These 30 teams represent and determine the future development of the CCUS field."

The cutting-edge innovation of technology has aroused intense discussion among the judges

"CCUS is a brand new industry at a crossroads. It didn’t exist before, but now it is developing because humanity is facing many threats from climate change," said Dawei, senior executive vice president and chief explorer of Tencent Group, in his speech. Precisely because this field is too cutting-edge and innovative, the innovative technologies that emerged this time have also triggered a lively discussion among the judges. Traditional CCUS technology captures carbon at the emission end of flue gas, which is captured in the case of carbon increase, and belongs to "low carbon" or "zero carbon", while DAC directly captures carbon from the air, which is called "negative carbon", but because the carbon content in the air is relatively low, the technology has caused intense discussion during the review.

According to Dr. Huang Xinwo, senior director of the Strategy and Development Department of Tencent Group and head of the "Carbon Search Project", the 30 projects selected this time cover 15-20 different CCUS innovation technology routes. The judges are divided into 10 groups and 4 large groups. Independent evaluation is to ensure that cutting-edge and innovative technologies are fully valued and discussed. "We don’t need certainty, we need to accept high-risk and promising technologies in order to explore opportunities for innovation," Xu Hao, vice president of sustainable social value at Tencent, introduced. " The "Carbon Search Project" has established three innovation channels, among which the "Pilot Support" track focuses on innovative technologies that are still being developed in the laboratory. Tencent will invest tens of millions of funds to help these technologies in the laboratory accelerate out of the laboratory and land in industrial scenarios.

Although the field is new, the team has begun to explore

Although the field of CCUS is still in the exploratory stage, the 30 teams have already made many initial attempts to implement the industry. For example, Zero Carbon Removal Company will use waste building materials for carbon dioxide mineralization and recycling, and eventually make new floor tiles to realize the circular economy model of "building-waste-building". It will build the first commercial project using carbon-sequestered concrete solid bricks in Hangzhou Henglong Plaza. Other existing industries have been explored, including the original technology company that has partnered with Guodian Electric Power and Sinopec Group, hoping to large-scale low-cost permanent mineralization and storage of carbon dioxide and other technologies.

Selecting these projects with potential to be implemented is the original intention of the "Carbon Hunting Project". As Wang Dawei said, the time left for global warming is very small, "which means that we have to start from scratch and achieve a considerable scale of emission reduction in a very short period of time in order to play a positive role in improving the atmospheric condition and the earth’s environment." Because of the tight time and heavy task, one of the most important criteria at the beginning of the "Carbon Hunting Project" selection is to achieve large-scale in 2030. In addition to the "Pilot Support" track, the "Start-up Incubation" track focuses on start-ups in the CCUS field. The "Carbon Search Program" will assist them in connecting with Tencent Qingteng, a platform for co-creating learning, to help start-ups achieve scale and commercialization as soon as possible.

Based on this, the evaluation committee of the "Carbon Search Project" has for the first time created a joint evaluation of academician experts, industrial partners and investment partners, representing the technical parties, application parties and commercial implementation parties in the CCUS field, including Jin Hongguang, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Yan Jinyue, academician of the European Academy of Humanities and Sciences, and relevant heads of enterprises such as Conch Group, Hegang Group, Matrix Partners, Sequoia China, etc., to ensure that the cutting-edge technologies emerging from the laboratory can be verified in the market.

These cutting-edge technologies are also crucial for industrial partners. Chen Yongbo, deputy general manager of Conch Group, said at the award ceremony: "I come from the cement industry, and cement is one of the most difficult industries in our country to reduce emissions. Without CCUS backing, it is difficult for the cement industry to achieve carbon neutrality." Tian Jinglei, chief researcher of HBIS, one of China’s largest steel companies, also said: "The steel industry consumes 8% of the world’s energy and produces carbon dioxide, which is a very important area for achieving carbon neutrality in the future. Thank you very much to Tencent for supporting us in our industrialization exploration."

The team is dedicated and firmly believes in the future of CCUS in China

The scientists in this team, whether they are post-90s or well-known scholars with more than 20 years of research experience, are full of confidence in the development of CCUS in China, and are willing to take risks and try boldly. For example, the two co-founders of Nanjing Gas Biochemistry decided to give up their stable teaching positions in key universities and start a business to develop CCUS technology; the team led by Professor Lin and Professor Chen Xi, chief scientist and founder of Climate Technology, at Columbia University is the first team in the world to propose direct air capture DAC. "CCUS has many development opportunities abroad, but I decided to do research and development in China because I believe in the cohesion of the Chinese nation and can definitely make representative work in the low-carbon field in a short period of time," Chen Xi said.

As Xu Hao pointed out, the selected team this time is very "Chinese characteristics", and many start-ups focus on the carbon dioxide utilization track. This is also the technology that China needs most at present. China has a large industrial base, and the current technology accumulation will definitely accelerate the development of this field. Professor Zhang Xiliang, director of the Institute of Energy and Environmental Economics of Tsinghua University and head of the National Carbon Market Overall Design Expert Group, is working with Tencent to provide a foundation for the development of China’s CCUS field, and promote the marketization and standardization of the CCUS field through technology measurement, reporting and verification (MRV).

In 2021, Tencent once again upgraded its strategy and took "sustainable social value innovation" as the foundation for the company’s future business development. Carbon neutrality is an important area of sustainable social value innovation. Since the establishment of the SSV carbon neutrality laboratory, it has implemented a series of projects, including a pilot project to explore the injection of carbon dioxide aqueous solution into basalt mineralization and storage in China, a carbon Live low-carbon innovation connector for low-carbon technology enterprises, and water-saving and anti-upland rice, virtual power plants, glacier protection, marine blue carbon and other projects. Xu Hao, vice president of sustainable social value at Tencent, said that from personal dismissal to ecological co-construction, Tencent continues to pay attention to next-generation technologies. "On the road to promoting sustainable social development, carbon neutrality is not a single option. In the future, we will use our technology and innovation capabilities to co-create with multiple parties, explore sustainable solutions, and help the integrated development of social value and economic benefits. The age limit for taxi drivers has been relaxed in many places: from 60 to 65

Another city has relaxed the age of taxi drivers. According to the "Regulations on the Administration of Passenger Taxi Vehicles in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, which came into effect in October, the age limit for applying for a passenger taxi driver qualification certificate in the city has been extended from 60 to no more than 65 years old.

Surging News found that cities such as Hangzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Qingdao, Kunming, and Weifang have previously extended the age of taxi driver qualification from 60 to 65.

The "Regulations on the Administration of Passenger Taxi Vehicles in Huzhou City" is the first local legislation in the field of transportation in the city and the first local legislation in the field of road transportation in non-sub-provincial cities in Zhejiang Province. The "Regulations" lower the threshold for the operation of new business enterprises and allow cruise cars to integrate online car-hailing operations. Xinhua News Agency "China Network" reporters Wei Shengyao, Wang Yang, Zhou Lin

Recently, due to a bad comment with abuse, a mobile phone ordering software user in Jinan, Shandong Province was slashed by a store on the "Ele.me" platform with a knife, resulting in 19 stitches on the left eyebrow bone, right collarbone, right thumb and index finger. The incident of "Ele.me store stabbing people" has sparked heated discussions about the security of food ordering software.

Some netizens said that although it is an individual case, it is the most important thing to deal with the aftermath of the food ordering platform involved and avoid such vicious incidents from happening again; netizens questioned that the apology of the food ordering platform involved was delayed 20 days after the incident, why was it so inactive? Some netizens also asked, from black-hearted food to door-to-door injuries, is the food ordering software safe? With these focuses of attention, "China Network" conducted relevant interviews and investigations.

Chop people if they don’t agree with each other? "Late + bad review" brew intentional injury

At about 19:00 on June 25, the police station on Wenhua East Road of the Public Security Bureau of Lixia District, Jinan City received an alarm that an injury case had occurred in a community on Wenhua East Road. After receiving the police, the police quickly arrived at the scene, summoned the suspect Wang to the police station, and sent the injured Yue to the hospital for treatment.

The reporter learned from the Lixia District Public Security Bureau that after investigation, on the morning of June 23, the victim, Mr. Yue (male, 23 years old, from Jinan), ordered a takeaway fast food from the suspect Wang (male, 26 years old, from Hejian City, Hebei Province, and the owner of a fast food restaurant) on a mobile phone ordering software. Due to the long delivery time, Yue was dissatisfied. Yue then wrote a bad comment with abusive words in the comment column of the Wang store of the ordering software.

At about 19:00 on June 25, the suspect Wang brought a kitchen knife to the victim Yue’s residence to find his theory. He met the victim who was about to go home at the door of Yue’s house. The two had an argument, and Yue called 110 to call the police. Subsequently, the suspect Wang pushed the victim Yue to the wall, and Yue hit Wang on the head. The suspect Wang took out the kitchen knife he carried with him, causing the victim Yue’s left eyebrow bone, right clavicle, right thumb, and index finger to be injured in multiple places. After being sent to the hospital, 19 stitches were sutured. After forensic identification, Yue’s injury was minor.

At about 23:00 on June 25, the parties took the initiative to request mediation, and the police of Wenhua East Road Police Station mediated the case. Due to the lack of agreement on the amount of compensation, the mediation failed. According to the provisions of Article 43, Paragraph 1 of the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Public Security Administration Punishments, Wang has been sentenced to administrative detention for ten days and a fine of 300 yuan for suspected intentional injury to others.

The reporter interviewed the victim, Mr. Yue, by phone. He said that it was indeed wrong for him to have verbal abuse in his comments, but he should not have been hurt.

Why is the official apology late? Ostrich response leads to controversy

The reporter saw in the official Weibo @Ele.me online ordering of Ele.me that at 22:12 on the 14th, the official Weibo released an open letter from Ele.me CEO Zhang Xuhao, first making a solemn apology to the injured user, in assisting users to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests, "failed to do more timely and effective"; many of them mentioned reflection and introspection, directly pointing to the reason why the user’s appeal has not been resolved, which is that the company’s customer service response mechanism is sluggish and the market manager lacks user awareness.

However, some netizens questioned that from June 25th to July 14th, it took 20 days for the open letter of apology to be issued. Some users also told reporters that the apology letter was more like a corporate public relations behavior to offset the impact of bad public opinion.

The reporter noticed that in the response of Ele.me’s official Weibo on the 13th, the personal injury was also described as "fighting", and the attitude changed significantly in just one day.

Mr. Yue, the victim, told reporters that since he complained to the customer service hotline of the Ele.me platform on June 26, he has not seen anyone on the Ele.me platform, but only received a call from a person claiming to be a "supervisor" using the customer service hotline. It was on the night of Weibo, "but I was not free at that time, so I suggested that the other party contact again at 10 am the next day." "By the afternoon of the 14th, not only did I not see anyone from Ele.me, but I also did not get anyone’s name and contact information." Mr. Yue said that at that time, he specially asked the "supervisor" if he could leave his contact information and name so that he could contact him later, but the other party’s reply was "you don’t have to worry about these, we just need to contact you."

Mr. Yue said that nearly 20 days after the incident, he could only call the customer service hotline to inquire about the progress of the matter, and the reply he got was basically "This matter has been upgraded, please be patient."

Experts such as Tang Xueyu, a public lawyer at the Shandong Provincial Consumers Association, believe that although the incident was a personal injury, the ordering platform was the one who issued the order for the delivery and exposed the victim’s address, phone number and name to the merchant, which was responsible for management. Although there are no clear provisions on the protection of relevant consumer rights and interests on the Ele.me APP, according to Article 44 of the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China (Amendment) and Article 28 of the "Internet Transaction Management Measures" of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, Ele.me should actively assist users in protecting their rights and claiming compensation, and even pay compensation first and then recover compensation from the merchant. "Compared with users, Ele.me is the strong party in front of the merchant, and the merchant should have signed an agreement or paid a security deposit," Tang Xueyu said.

According to Mr. Yue, the injured store has been detained by the Jinan public security organs, and he will need to file a civil lawsuit against the store to seek reasonable compensation.

Chen Guanwen, a lawyer at Shandong Japan-China Law Firm, said the ostrich-like response to the belated apology without specific compensation measures was not just a legal liability issue, but also involved corporate ethics and social responsibility. "The Ele.me platform lacks internal constraints on registered restaurants."

Is it convenient or safe? The operating model of ordering software needs to be improved

In fact, since the beginning of this year, the safety problems of online food ordering platforms have frequently broken out. The reporter learned that restaurants that are nominally registered as food delivery merchants on the ordering platform are actually "black workshops" that do not meet hygiene and safety standards. Online and offline restaurant addresses do not match, unlicensed and unphotographed, photos are fraudulent, and hygiene conditions are not up to standard… These "old problems" coupled with this vicious injury incident have made the rectification and management of the ordering platform particularly urgent.

The National People’s Congress Standing Committee’s Food Safety Law Enforcement Inspection Team found during the inspection that the rise of online food ordering and other emerging food formats has not only brought convenience to consumers, but also left regulatory gaps such as ineffective third-party online platforms, unlicensed merchants operating online, difficult to guarantee the sanitary environment, and arbitrary delivery processes.

"At present, the supervision of emerging food formats such as online food ordering is still in their own exploration. There is a lack of a unified national supervision model and standards. It is difficult to root out the emerging new problems by relying on surprise law enforcement actions and individual exploration. The Food and Drug Administration, industry and commerce, public security and other departments should study and implement unified and systematic solutions as soon as possible," said Liu Junhai, a professor at Renmin University School of Law.

Ma Qiang, a lawyer at Shandong Qilu Law Firm, told reporters that from the administrative level, the government lacks proper supervision of third-party platforms, and there are a large number of legal loopholes; on the other hand, if the government alone is actually difficult to control every food delivery staff and restaurants, standardized and detailed management is the unshirkable responsibility of the ordering platform.

From the perspective of strengthening user safety protection on online ordering platforms, experts suggest that, first, online ordering platforms urgently need to improve the accident response mechanism, and cannot let public opinion push them away. It is necessary to strengthen the management training of registered restaurants and employees, and enhance the professional quality and legal quality of employees. Second, the lack of privacy protection mechanisms for ordering users should be taken seriously immediately. For example, geographical location, home address, phone number, real name, and other information should be fully exposed to delivery units and delivery personnel, which poses great security risks. Data shielding and regular cleaning mechanisms should be established as soon as possible. Third, platforms should allow users to anonymously comment negatively, and prioritize user personal safety while allowing for the expression of their true wishes.

Ma Qiang believes that the after-sales services and compensation mechanism of the ordering platform are seriously formalized, and after the occurrence of food safety accidents and personal injury accidents, the ordering platform as one of the responsible persons should take the initiative to bear legal responsibility.
